World Water Day is celebrated every year in our school on March 22nd and Bulgarian students know that t it’s a day to recognize the importance of water in our lives and the need to conserve and protect it.
Here are some ways how we have celebrated World Water Day.
We have organized a seminar on the topic „Conserving and protecting water“. The students discussed the ways to make a conscious effort to conserve water by fixing any leaks, turning off the tap while brushing your teeth, or taking shorter showers. They have learned more about water, its importance in our lives. We read articles and presentations on water conservation.
Next step was to take care of our bio garden and water it.
Our students are volunteers to help out a community projects and share information about World Water Day on social media, importance of water conservation. We believe that small actions can make a big impact when it comes to conserving water and protecting this precious resource.
